No. 3 at Justice Dept. OK'd Black Panther Reversal

Associate Attorney General Thomas J. Perrelli, the No. 3 official in the Obama Justice Department approved the decision to reverse course and drop the case against the New Black Panther Party for intimidating voters during last November’s election. Justice Dept. officials refuse to answer why the case was dismissed and have prevented members of Congress from interviewing the lawyers who brought the charges.
