Radio host Michael Savage banned in UK
May 5, 2009U.K.’s Home Secretary Jacqui Smith releases list of banned from entering the country. List includes U.S. radio host Michael Savage for what Smith calls “fomenting hatred.”

Among others also barred are anti-gay protesters, Muslim preachers, and released Hezbollah terrorist (and child murderer) Samir Kuntar.
In defense of Savage, I occasionally listen to his show, and his show does not foment hatred. If it did, I would not listen. What elicits this response is the fact that Savage is the only major radio host that discusses the threat of Islamic terrorism. The mere discussion of Islamic terrorism causes concern in the Muslim community – who are moving towards eliminating all discussion of Islam (including terrorism). The response of the Muslims causes weak-kneed politicians like Smith – who also previously banned Geert Wilders – to react by removing the problem.
